Membership Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2026. These Membership Terms are in addition to, and incorporate, the Oregon Coast Journey site Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Membership & eligibility

Membership is offered in tiers (currently Coast Club, Cruise Insider, and Captain’s Club), available on a monthly or annual basis. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information. Member benefits apply only while a Membership is active and in good standing.

2. Billing & payment

Membership fees are charged in advance for the selected term (monthly or annual) through our payment processors, Stripe and PayPal. By purchasing a Membership you authorize Oregon Coast Journey to charge the applicable fee, plus any applicable taxes, to your selected payment method.

3. Automatic renewal

Your Membership automatically renews at the end of each term (monthly or annually) at the then-current rate, and your payment method will be charged automatically, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will provide renewal reminders where required by law. You may cancel at any time (see Section 5).

4. Price changes

We may change Membership prices. Any change will apply to your next renewal after we provide reasonable advance notice to the email associated with your account. Continuing your Membership after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your Membership at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting us at melinda@oregoncoastjourney.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Membership and its benefits remain active through the end of the term you have already paid for, after which they end.

6. Refunds

Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Partial-term cancellations are not refunded; your access simply continues until the end of the paid term. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review it in good faith.

7. Member benefits & eligibility

Member benefits are described on the Membership pages and may include premium guides, a private community, live Q&A sessions, member-only tools, exclusive events, and additional concierge perks. Benefits are available only to active members and are personal to you; they may not be shared, sold, or transferred. Free cruise-planning services (personalized planning, booking, standard onboard credit, and post-booking price monitoring) are available to all booking clients and are not conditioned on Membership.

8. Onboard credit & qualifying cruises

Any member onboard credit or enhanced perk applies only to qualifying cruise bookings made through Oregon Coast Journey on eligible sailings and cruise lines, while your Membership is active at the time of booking. Onboard credit amounts, eligibility, and combinability are set by the applicable cruise line and by Oregon Coast Journey, may change, and are not redeemable for cash.

9. Changes to benefits

We may add, modify, or discontinue Membership benefits from time to time. If we make a material reduction to benefits, we will provide reasonable notice, and you may cancel before your next renewal.

10. Ending a Membership

When a Membership ends—whether by your cancellation, non-payment, or our termination for violation of these terms—member-only benefits, access, and any unearned credits stop immediately. Onboard credit already earned and confirmed on a booked, qualifying cruise will be honored.

12. Governing law

These Membership Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Our automatic-renewal and cancellation practices are intended to comply with Oregon’s automatic-renewal requirements: we disclose renewal terms clearly and let you cancel at any time online or by email.
