1) My Petite Sweet

In the town of Newport, Oregon, there are a lot of delicious bakeries to try. However, My Petite Sweet is not only one of the best bakeries, but they also serve up delicious sandwiches and coffee. 

At My Petite Sweet, they bake their cakes, cupcakes, and cookies fresh every day using only the freshest ingredients! 

They also make their own jams which they use to create beautiful cupcakes like Pink Champagne with Strawberry and Cream or Vanilla Marion Berry with cream. 

Cannot get enough of their sugary goodness? Let them create a masterpiece cake for your next social gathering. Their cakes have been named one of the best in Newport, Oregon! 

They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm and are located near 17th Street on Highway 101. 

2) La Maison Cafe

This cafe is a great place to stop for lunch, or to grab a coffee on your way out of town. The cafe offers breakfast sandwiches, pastries, salads, and paninis. They also have a sandwich board outside with specials you can order ahead of time.

The La Maison Cafe is open 7 days a week, mainly from 9 to 2. Some local favorites to eat are Swedish Cured Salmon Benedict, Caramelized Banana French Toast, and French Squeezed Orange Juice. 

The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere, and the staff treats you like family as soon as you walk in the door! 

3) Ultralife Cafe

The café also serves Longbottom & Cape Foulweather coffee, which is locally roasted in Newport, Oregon! 

Their breakfast menu features some amazing acai bowls and breakfast burritos.

They have two locations in Newport. The first is near Nye Beach, and the second is on Marine Science Drive. 

Ultralife Cafe Nye Beach is open is open Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm. While Ultralife Cafe South Beach is open Monday through Saturday from 9 to 2. 

Each location is a little unique from the other and what they offer. When visiting, we recommend giving both a try! 

4) Panini Bakery

Panini Bakery has been serving great-tasting loaves and locally grown ingredients since it opened its doors. 

The BLT is mouth-watering at this quaint little shop with pan-seared bacon, juicy tomato, and mayo to top off the perfect sandwich! 

Make sure to arrive early because their pastries sell out early. 

Panini Bakery is tucked away in the middle of an eclectic block at Nye Beach. It is open Wednesday through Saturday, 7 am to 3 pm. 

5) The Coffee House

The Coffee House is a cozy restaurant in the historic bay front. 

The menu offers many different types of seafood, but if you are looking for something more unique, order their house-made clam chowder! 

When visiting, be sure to ask about how this place came to be and what story there may be behind how their cottage came to be. 

Early morning rises can enjoy the beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean, while late-night diners can enjoy the colorful view of the Pacific Ocean sunset.  

The Coffee House is open Monday through Wednesday from 7 am to 2 pm and Thursday through Sunday from 7 am to 9 pm. 

6) Blue Pig Bakery

The Blue Pig Bakery is a must-visit spot when you are in Newport, Oregon!

The bakery is famous for its Hot Buttercream Frosted Cinnamon Rolls and Espresso Coffee. They offer a wide variety of other delicious pastries and scones as well. 

Google maps will take you to the back of the building, so make sure to swing around so you can come to the front entrance. 

Blue Pig Bakery is open from 9 am to 3 pm on Thursday through Sunday. 

7) Coasties Roasties

Coasties Roasties is a small, family-owned coffee shop with delicious pastries and sandwiches. The bakery is open from 7 am to 4 pm every weekday. They are open on Saturdays from 8 to 3 and closed Sundays. 

All of the pastries are homemade fresh daily with no preservatives. The shop also offers a variety of coffees, teas, and gluten-free options.

Coasties Roasties is one of the top-rated cafes in town, so you will not want to miss checking it out! 

8) Siren's Lure Teahouse and Bakery

This establishment has something to please everyone with a selection of freshly baked pastries, cakes, pies, scones, croissants, muffins, and more.

Your traditional English High Tea taste is still alive and well at Siren's Lure Teahouse, where they serve up a delicious three-tier spread every Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7 pm. 

The menu features all the classics you'd expect in this style of meal — from biscuit with Honey Ricotta Spread to Roasted Stuffed Vegetables; they have it all!  

The meal will even be brought out in 4 courses! Definitely, something to check out! 

Siren's Lure Teahouse and Bakery are closed Tuesday and Wednesday, but open Thursday through Sunday from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm. They are open on Monday from 10:30 to 2:00 pm. 

9) Chalet Restaurant and Bakery

The delicious smells from Chalet Restaurant and Bakery are enough to make your mouth water! This family-owned business has been around since 1972, offering quality food every time! 

At Chalet Restaurant and Bakery, you will find delicious pastries made fresh every day. They offer a variety of baked goods such as donuts, croissants, scones, muffins, and more. Their menu also includes breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal with toppings, smoothies, and desserts.

Chalet Restaurant and Bakery is located in Safeway's parking lot and right across the street from Fred Meyers. It is open every single day of the week from 8 am to 4 pm. 

10) Cafe Stephanie

Cafe Stephanie is a family-owned bakery offering much more than just the perfect cup of coffee.

They have a large assortment of delicious pastries, from croissants to danishes to muffins and everything in between.
